Meet your Author: Blankita Cordero

Hi guys!

Welcome to my travel blog! My name is Blankita, but my friends call me Blanket — at least they would if I had any friends 😂 (Meg? No? lol).

I am a millennial born in Boston and raised in Central Florida and La Antigua, Guatemala. I am a proud graduate of UCF; during my time there, I worked in all of the world-famous theme parks in Central Florida. After graduating with a degree in Psychology, I decided to treat myself to a 14-day New Year’s Eve European Road Trip with a young adult travel company called EF, which was my first-ever trip to Europe and ultimately ignited my passion for travel.

Through my adventures, I’ve realized that travel offers an education. It allows you to unlearn a world of propaganda and prejudices and discover truths a Western school system could never teach.
